About
I specialize in creating mapping solutions that inform land use, environmental, and transportation planning decisions.
I am a GIS Analyst and Geospatial Developer for Caltrans’ Office of Data Analysis and GIS.
At Caltrans, I am the technical lead for Caltrans’ Google Earth Enterprise deployment called CT Earth and for the creation of Caltrans\' external geoportal. I also contribute to several projects including the Statewide Road Network, California Road System, and next generation Linear Referencing System (LRS).
In my role as the technical lead for CT Earth I am responsible for integrating large datasets, developing web map applications for internal clients, serving as a technical advisor for internal projects, and creating a publicly available version of Caltrans Earth. I also work as a Senior GIS Analyst for DAI in Washington, DC. My last project is a web map application that allows decision makers to visualize large datasets and respond to potential pandemic outbreaks.
Prior to joining Caltrans, I worked as an Urban Planner and GIS Analyst at Minter Harnish in Sacramento where I was a major contributor and lead GIS Analyst for several City and County General Plan Updates, Housing Elements, and other private and public planning projects.
